Not sure they do. The 9 speed stuff used to, I mix them myself. But the new 10speed MTB stuff has some special actuation. Dont really know much about it. Convervsly Sram have moved there 10 speed stuff in line. So you can mix and match their 10 speed. Sweet.

I plan to runs a SRAM TT900 lever, with a XO short cage mech. Should be nice.

I sometimes fantasize about a ti touring frame with sram s900 leavers/TT shifters as barends and a xx long cage.

With a wide cassette, and slightly smaller rings upfront, I'd guess it would work instead of a triple...the only thing is what''s the point.

I've beaten to shite out off my DA TT shifters. Running them on off-road, through winter etc. They have never skipped a beat. I can change as many gears as I want, and can feel which gear I am using/entering with my hand. MTB rear mechs have a shed load more durability designed into them too.

I am now replacing a broken crankset. My do-all bike will now have MTB mechs + cassette, compact road chainset, and TT shifters. A mess of components which I bet will work solidly through abuse.

from road.cc

The 10 Goal is designed for bicycle polo but, as there isnít a great deal of that about, itíll also be used as a general urban machine. You get rear-facing dropouts for running it fixed/singlespeed and a distinctive curved seat tube. The frame will set you back £249 and a typical build from about £599 Ė although you can spend a bit more and pimp it up if you like.
I went to see this in Pearsons shop in East Sheen. It is very nice. Want!

Everythings so darn light these days, that the increase in weight of a alu frame, over a carbon frame. Still barely breaks the UCI limit. Given that you have to ride top of the range groupsets, and want the lightest wheels possible. I guess it makes sense to just ride alu.

Not sure how much Gilbert is concerned with vertical compliance, compared to C+ testers.

Allows for custom geo and tweaking special frames for Paris Roubaix etc.

Phil Gil did most of 2010 on the Ultimate F8 AL and Greipel was on something similar at Flanders this year. Giveaway is the cable stops on the heatube where all their carbon offering have them on downtube.

there were some interesting comments on that article - especially the bit about Pro's using Record instead of Super Record so that the teams can get more groups and sell the surplus ones on.

I guess it comes down to cash at the end of the day - I know for a fact that Rapha Condor Sharp riders only have one Dura Ace group between TT and Road bikes, which the mechanics have to swap over, how mental is that?

I guess so - all the team bikes/gear gets sold off at the end of the season to recoup as much money as possible. The cost of running a team like that must be fairly high.

on that cgi it almoast looks as if the frame had swampable dropouts but I kind of doubt that.

I did'nt mind it untill I saw the price.
Full carbon frame with internal cabling, and tapered steerer.
Full 105 drive.
Mid range Easton components.
Seems a neat package. But for 2k, based on a open mould framset. Something from PX, Ribble, PedalForce, Rossetti etc. Would blow it out of the water.

About the closest Condor seem to have got to a 2012 range. New Squadra colours:

I actually quite like the lary yellow. Condor logo's a bit shit tho.
