Those crime novels by Burke are fantastic, They led me to Robert Crais and Michael Connelly who have written some great crime fiction.
My Neighbour Totoro is probably a good one to start with as it's a typical "Ghibli" movie.
I've seen a few and there is something great in all IMO.
