I've been making these date protein balls with DIY protein mix that I've put together at home but feel free to experiment around with it!
DIY Protein mix:
1/4 cup hemp powder, 1/4 pea powder, 1/4 cup chia seeds, 1/4 cup ground almonds or cashews, 5 tablespoons maca & lucuma each and maybe cocoa powder/vanilla/cinnamon.
Date+Peanut butter chocolate balls:
about 7-8 medjool dates (soaked beforehand)
3 tablespoons peanut butter
1/2 cup brown rice crispies
cocoa powder (optional)
spoonfuls of the above protein mix
Blend everything, roll into little balls and freeze for bit. Coat in melted dark chocolate after and freeze again. This last step is completely optional of course but why would you leave it out? Chocolate guys. Chocolate.
