Looking for a good seat post for a Bates of Westcliff 1958 era. I have a selection of posts, the 27.2 is too big and my others are too small. Not actually sure what size is needed.

Hi, have just bought a Bates frame with diadrant forks and cantiflex frame. The guy I bought it off thought he bought it new in 1958/9 and I was wondering if I could look up the frame number somewhere to confirm?
