hope you find one . took me a long time to just find a road version for a track build im doing. I needed a 32 hole but had to settle for 36. it kinda worked out as I had to settle for a 36 h dura ace ten pitch hub for the back . it called for a mavic hubs , 80 mm front, standard thread ten pitch cog for the back , but I couldn't find a French threaded ten pitch lockring . don't even know if they made one . only a ten pitch thread and a standard thread ten pitch lockring that I know of. good luck with your search.

I need a left hand mavic lockring French threaed , anyone know where I can find one ? ive been looking on ebay and the such.

the frame is a gitane profile s . you can go to the catalog section of our website gitaneusa. click on 80's and its the first french 1980 catalog . the pic of it is on the left the write up and some specs are on the right . i took a set of digital calipers and it measured 86.5. i have the road version toowhich also takes a 86.5 . i bought a 86.5 last week and just got it . i didnt know if i could tap it , not much room for error it would be real tight .plus i would need a extra set of the allen bolt fasteners. when i get full membership ill post a couple pics.i also have a delta wing track bike. its bronze chromed and was set up for a show bike might be the bronze medal bike in the 1000m la 84 olympics, but trying to confirm that.

i understand there sold , im trying to get out of the nursery with these post . was wondering on the threads. i have the rear hub . was wondering what to buy for the cog . thanks guys you answered my question on the cog and lockring.will be ebaying tonight to get what i need for the rear . now the front is a different story altogether. very hard to find in a track version . and the specs call for a dura ace 7500 cranck and french bb . ive been looking and ouch on the prices . but this bike is so different than a reg track bike . thanks....don

the front hub on my bike is a 86.5mm and so far very hard to find.

what size (threading) rear hub do these take ? im building a gitane profile track bike and these are in the catalog specs.

For sale I've got some lovely Mavic 520 track hubs in great condition with lock ring, laced to Mavic CXP30s (clinchers) which have been destickered. They are 28h front and back. - tyres tubes and cog are not included. If you're after something abit classier than goldtecs or phil these are the ones.

The hubs and rims are in great condition and roll forever.
