We were told that we were being extra for expecting a weekly update from a local independent estate agent changing top £. Only after going full Karen they started getting stuff done promptly. They then went full friendly, gave us direct line to the office director, but still expected to be patted on the back for doing their job. Said director asked to be taken for a pint after deal was done 😂 he is still waiting

@Howard not all are horrible, we had a great local surveyor that seriously surpassed all expectations (and got recomended to friends, family and fellow Lffgs’ers)

Discounts are not litigations, just conversations about value and quality of service. We might disagree due to past experiences (it seems you have had difficult encounters with surveyors and discounts in the property world before) and that’s fine. OP is free to take any, some or none of the advice.

Fair point. However size of operation doesn’t really justify lack of communication. Explaining the delay is easy and quick and would have probably put @ExTra ‘s mind at ease. I still think is worth asking for a discount if you don’t hear back early next week

Ask for a discount for the delay, request complaint form as it is black and white in the T&C’s and leave a serious review in their social media, facebook or Google page… that usually focuses minds and gets the results, just be ready to be less polite than usual

Morden is pretty nice, good schools and close to lots of lovely green spaces. I will definitely make an effort to make sure it sells for a good price

@ReekBlefs That seems quite expensive, if you are in East London I could recommend a surveyor that friends, family and fellow Lfgss’ers have successfully used for way less

Lovely cotton navy mid-weight blazer. Nice buttons and other brilliant details. Very comfy, I just don't wear formal clothes often enough to justify keeping it. Size approx: 38-40 inch chest. Condition BC (looks better IRL) Around £300 new yours for £55

Great mid-weight navy shirt. Nice corozo buttons. My favourite shirt I just got too big (aka fat) for it. Size 2 approx: 36-38 inch chest. Condition BC (There is a small area of wear in the shoulder. Just washed, hence wrinkles, I will iron before posting) Around £140 new yours for £45

Due to a recent upgrade, this is no longer needed. iPhone SE (Feb 2021) 64 GB - Black - Unlocked in Excellent condition. No serious marks (always used a case and screen protector) just a small superficial scratch on back logo (only visible at certain angles). Original box (complete with cable and sim pim) included. Currently running iOS 16.1.1, the battery is at 86% lasts for a day

Refurbished ones seem in this condition seem to go for £136 to in Backmarket, how does £100 posted sound?

I must confess I do more walking than cycling lately and I mostly want them to take some pictures in nature and document the life of my little one before she gets too old. What would you recommend?
I had a Fuji during my degree (ages ago but similar to the X100 in size and features, not image quality though) and I honestly loved it. It was an absolute tank too… My problem with phones is photos just sit there. So I thought a camera might force me to actually get back to having more of a process, maybe I am just getting old and sentimental 😪

What was(is?) your Fuji kit? Just asking as I have been considering whether to get a Fuji or a Ricoh (or just a phone as Amey)
