I took a punt on a used Suunto 9 baro recently that was £90 a while ago, pretty happy with it so far. HR is not as accurate as a chest strap but not awful and they have navigation which is a plus for me

Another vote for Swrve. I’ve had one pair of their jeans for 5+ years and still wear them, the only things that felt the test of time were the high-vis marking and the pockets needed some tlc stitching.

I also have a pair of their mid-weight trousers which are lighter and stretchier. Added them to the machine when I was reproofing a jacket and they hold up well against showers now.

Good times! I regularly lurk here and check in on the tags. Moving further out, working longer hours and having a kid mean I remain an observer, but I might dip back in one of these days.

Yeah it has mid blade eyelets, I think the new 2022 version has 8x of them 😂. I have seen similar racks that use longer stays that go to the mudguard eyelets if you have those instead? If I remember right Brick Lane Bikes makes one…

Perhaps a Specialized pizza rack? I have done the nursery run before with little one’s usual rucksack on the top under a cargo net and a pannier underneath with my work stuff. Then left the rucksack and child seat at nursery and carried on my way.

The rack was a bit of a faff to fit, the mounting plates being not wide enough for the fork mounts when on the inside but too wide on the outside of the rack. Got it to work fine running it on the outside but with some diy spacers. Assume it was just a quirk of my forks (genesis vagabond).

We used Advocate in the past as well as Itch and still had times when fleas got out of control. I can recommend using diatomaceous earth over carpet edges, the cat bed, sofa cracks, etc. The food grade version is safe for pets and cats and can be hovered up. We were recommended it by a friend and I was skeptical but it did work wonders for us too.
