But nearly.
The seat tube angle you've wound up with + the fact you've got your saddle back as far as it is suggests you either have the longest thighs known to man or a stupid bike setup that you need to sort out, probably by purchasing a new frame and fork. I'm going to guess its the latter.
I am pretty sure I didn't ask for people's opinion in starting up this thread. If I had of wanted comments on how my bike looks/rides I would of posted it in one of the porn threads. All I wanted was to find out if anyone knew where I can get some straight blade 0 rake forks...
...Thanks though.

I have currently got a pair of straight blade, zero degree forks on my lo pro which has a ridiculously slack head tube angle. However, the forks were designed to be run with a 27 1/4" wheel meaning I have to run a deep drop brake caliper and also have a high bottom bracket. I have hunted everywhere for a 700c 1" specific fork, but to no avail. Can anyone help?

Having a clear-out to fund another project:
*Front Velocity 650c Deep V electric blue rim laced with black spokes and nipples to a black high flange Origin8 hub with hollow axle. Includes nuts, tube and Continental Gatorskin tyre (£24 on its own!) Hub is silky smooth and has done less than 100 miles. Rim is free from scratches and chips but has been used with a front brake so has a black mark on both sides (this may polish off but I cannot be sure). £50 (wheel will be cleaned)
*Rear Velocity 700c Deep V black rim laced with silver spokes and nipples to a black high flange Brick Lane Bikes double fixed hub. Includes nuts, tube and red unbranded tyre. Wheel has done about 400 miles and has a few scratches but nothing too serious. Has never been used with a brake. £50 (wheel will be cleaned)
*Pair of unbranded (believed to be Charge) silver 32h high flange track hubs. They have been previously built up so have some small marks around the spoke holes but once built up these will not be noticeable. Otherwise in top cosmetic condition. Front axle is silky smooth but rear could probably do with a re-grease, hard to tell until they are built up. Comes with 16t fixed cog and lockring £20
*Cycloc wall cycle storage in black. Used about 10 times in total so in very good condition. Comes with the inner bolt cover and spacer (for wide bars) but no instructions although they can be downloaded online. Still selling for £53 online. £45
Pickup from Forest Gate or Stratford please.

Having a quick clearout and these are up for grabs:
Pair of brand new 650c LoPro chrome forks. Purchased from Brick Lane Bikes for £60 and never used. They have been cut (not by me I hasten to add!). Recessed brake drilling. Steerer length 140mm of which 35mm is threaded. £50

Pair of Columbus 24" LoPro chrome forks. These came on one of my frames, but I decided to change to a 650 fork, so these are not needed. They have a recessed brake drilling and the steerer length is also 140mm of which 45mm is threaded. There is one patch of rust on the lower leg which I have photographed, dont know if it would polish out. £15
I have a 2" tap, so can extend the fork threading if needed. Pickup from E7 Forest Gate or Walthamstow (where I work).

I am a D&T teacher in Walthamstow and have recently started up an after school club with about 8 students teaching them bike maintenance. Originally a local guy was going to supply some old bikes for the students to work on, but he pulled out at the last minute, so I have been left with 8 hungry-to-learn teenagers and only a handful of spares/parts/frames. If anyone has got anything bike related; TOOLS, PARTS, FRAMES, WHEELS, etc that they would be willing to donate then it would be gratefully received. My hope was to gather enough parts to enable the students to build up a single speed bike once I have taught them the necessary skills, but this obviously depends on donations. I am happy to supply pictures to anyone who can donate bits so you can see how they have been used!

Do you need them desperately or for a project? I ask because I'll be selling these soon, but haven't got round to taking the headset out (crap tools not doing the job - may go to LBS for removal) I'm really busy this week too but if you're interested could save them for you. Nice long steerer anyway - the frame that it's on now is a 58.

I want a set of 1" threadless carbon forks. Those chrome forks are beaut Meds! Are they Columbus steel? How much would you be looking for?
