This works for me.
Smallest file you can find and cut at 2 diagonals to make a slot just large enough for a slotted screwdriver to fit in.
Heat gun or hairdryer on cap to warm it up
A small amount of WD 40 type oil around rim of cap and turn. -

We took part in the South Downs 100 Sportive on Sunday
Fantastic fun to ride the 45 mile course over the hills of the South Downs.
Four of us did it Single Speed ( not fixed) and trust .... some of those hills were killers.
But we did it !!!!!We had a great day with so many looks of total disbelieve from the geared riders as they watched us whizz by on our one gear rides.
Only down side was there is not one single picture of any of us taking part in the event, only a video shot of a couple us trying to eat and drink everything on offer at one of the refreshment stations

My frame was free and rides real good. may be a bit big, but as i say, it was free. and rides real good.

The pedals were fitted by the shop that built the bike when I bought it. I supplied my own pedals to them and they came fitted.
They also serviced it a few months ago and didnt say anything about it.
The pedals were new and boxed direct from a mail order website.
Which shop was it ?

There is a difference between people who don't follow the rules, and people who simply can't ride. There's plenty of both on the roads. Especially with the barclays bikes. I'm all for encouraging cycling, but when you're setting off at lights, pushing off and swerving 2 foot from the curb is not going to keep you safe....

Strange, awesome hilarious but woefully inaccurate.
I actually stayed there and helped a customer with his hybrid because he could not fit his new brake blocks.
I had arrived and the rack was full so leant my bike up. Had got to the front of the queue when security told me to move my bike. I pointed out that there was no room in the rack so gentile me to leave it outside.
I said I did not want to lock it outside and yes I mentioned its value. Then one place became available in the rack and security guard demanded I move my bike, thus making menlose my place in the queue to be served.
Your selective hearing is fantastic, and you clearly did not see me leave because I was there for 10 minutes helping the nodder and suggesting he did a ctuk mechanics course.
