I've had this gathering dust for the last year after I switched to another frame. Apparently one of the 'Holy Grail' early (1980-1) frames, with signature seat stays and a pantographed fork, although the bottom bracket is not. It appears to be a pre-production frame as the serial number (6-749) does not correspond to the regular numbering system... I'm by no means an expert.
Size is 56cm square (C-C)
No dents or damage. Chrome is in good condition.
Bad bits are that it's been resprayed (powder coat!!) and there are various scrapes/scratches, including where the back wheel slipped and rubbed the inner chainstay (pictured). Evidence of some previous superficial rust pitting on the top tube (doesn't show on a photo). The headset has also seen better days.Looking for £350. (Asked for an opinion on value on the 'What is it worth thread' and was told £500-700 even accounting for the respray - I've hopefully priced it at a point to allow someone to get it restored properly)
Pick up and cash in E8 only or can meet in Central London. I don't want to post it as I want whoever buys it to see it first so they know what they're buying.
(PS. I will never make it as a photographer)

Calling myself and another cyclist out.
Turning into Regents Park outer circle from Camden this morning. Waiting at the T junction, lights at the pedestrian crossing to the right on red, with traffic and cyclists stopped so assumed was all clear. Look left to check it was clear and pull out. In the mean time a RLJr must have gone through the crossing, as I nearly hit him as I pull out. He shouts out something along the lines of what are you doing, I feebly respond with sorry, followed by pointing out that he RLJd. I should have checked to my right again and made the classic mistake of assuming other people stick to the rules. -

I've got an early 80's Eddy Merckx frame that I'm looking to sell to a friend. I've got no real idea what a reasonable price is now? I paid about £400 for it about 4 years ago on Ebay. Good bits are that it's apparently got a rare combination of a pantographed Eddy Merckx fork and signature seat stay. Bad bits are that it has non-orignal paint - it's powder coated and has aftermarket decals. Also various scratches and scrapes to the paintwork and rear chrome, but no damage. Current pictures:
