Unfortunately I have threaded the loose part of my Pearl, where the bolt attaches to clamp the bars in place, and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get hold of individual parts, or even better, if anyone has a spare?
I've done a little ring-around and it's proving quite difficult to find... Any help would be fantastic.
Thanks,
D

hold out for the IRO. Cavendish did a fantastic job on mine... it's worth it!
Just spoke to Cavendish, and apparently alot of people have one on order, and they are genuinely waiting for them to come in still (alot of people have been asking "when is my frame coming in" recently i think, because the dude laughed at me, haha!).
I think i may hold it out, because ive got a feeling i will regret it if i dont. Waiting is painful though.

Spoke to the guys in Cavendish about getting an IRO Angus, then doing a custom build, almost 3 months ago i think now, and have had no call back about the frame coming in and im almost past preying for.
I just want to get an off the peg now, as im going to be moving to London soon, and want to cycle to work (and im on the cycle to work scheme), so was wondering what shops in London regularly stock the Charge Plug?
I wouldnt mind getting it from a shop that has experience selling fixed bikes too, as im new to it all and want to know im getting a bike that has been put together by someone who knows what they are talking about, and so i can ask questions and get familiar with sizings etc (looked in a previous post, and was thinking maybe the medium? Im about 5,9 , so dont know if this is a bit too big?).
Cheers guys

Popped into Cavendish cycles last week and spoke to a dude in there about my first build. He was a really friendly and helpful guy and recommend me the IRO angus. Got round to ordering it, but beings as im quite short, im going for a 53, which will have to be built as they dont have any in stock...
Has anyone ever had to wait for an IRO frame to be made? Im just getting a bit worried because if its coming from the US it will take forever to arrive?

A fixed gear (for better or worse) is not 'something a bit different' in London anymore. Still; welcome.
Cavendish are great. Have you tired Condor?
Cheers Soul, no i havent tried Condor, could be another winner beings as they are re-opening on Friday.
I just wanted to cycle in an alternative way again if you know what i mean? I know its become a big "scene kid" thing, thats why i wanted to get a bit clued up and not roll in somewhere sounding a bit clueless, because i know how annoying it can be i guess.

Yo, been lurking on this bad boy for a while. Used to cycle alot when i was younger, but have faded out recently. Moving to london in a month or two and figured the best way to get back into cycling for me would be to go fixed. Used to ride trials on mountain bikes and just want an A to B diddy but something a bit different, so thought its the best direction to go down.
Going to have a further snoop around this afternoon, but hopefully im going to place an order on some form of bike this weekend (cycle to work sceme ahoy!).
Ive been recommended Cavendish by a friend who used to work at Holloway, popped into Brick Lane and 14 yesterday also. Anyone got any recommendations of somewhere friendly and welcoming?
Cheers
Unfortunately I'm out of London Friday night/ Saturday morning... and im keen to get the beast back on the road by next week.
Cheers for the offer bodieanddoyle, but the stem itself is in perfect condition, its just the threaded part that is naff.
