a few on here have had leaders in the past and seem more that happy with the value for money and whats more important..... the bike
+1
When I was looking for info on various forums for the leader frames I found 100's of post's of people saying they were crap. However, when actually reading the posts they were all coming from people that had never owned one. They didn't like the 'look' of the frames, they are aluminium and 'steel is real'. The welds are shit (they are actually very good). The dropout issue (only applies to the 721TR which has a very tight rear triangle and people are trying to fit wider tires than it's designed for).
Then between all these comments are the odd posts by people who actually do or have owned a Leader frame. All of which were happy with what they had. They liked the look of the frames, they are excellent value for money, the welds aren't crap, aluminium isn't the devils work, they ride well, the customer service is excellent, lifetime guarantee etc etc.
I've had my Leader 725TR for a few months now and done well over 1000 miles on it with absolutely no complaints and would recommend one to anybody. Although I would advise avoiding the 721TR for the road due to the short dropouts.

I'm in Kirkby and over the last 3/4 years of riding fixed I've only seen one other fixed rider in the Mansfield area.
