Hi, I have a bit of a prob and would appreciate a bit of advice. Basically I have gone through about 4 inner tubes in very quick succession, and was confused as to why. I checked the rim tape for sharp bits etc, nothing.
Then I noticed that the seam on the rim where the two ends meet each other has raised slightly (like .3mm) and become sharp.
Obviously the thing to do to stop the punctures is to file down the seam so it is smooth again, question I have is: is the wheel now f*cked? Will it happen again? has the seam effectively failed? It's under a year old so should be under warranty from BLB...
thankyou very much for any help advice. -
long shot but any of these still available? if not, does anyone else have a ladies ducth bike for sale?
same old story... for the missus, i bought her a beautiful 531 framed coventry eagle but she 'doesn't like it' as it's 'uncomfortable'. bah. in fact if anyone fancies doing some sort of p/x on that i would definitely be interested.
thanks for any replies.. -

Sorry this is totally unrelated to bikes, but it is related to London so I thought it might be worth a go.
Moving into a new place in N4 this week but it's totally unfurnished. If anyone has a sofa, a wardrobe, table, chairs, bookcases, lamps, anything they want rid of please let me know...
Many thanks for any help (I am doing the rounds on freecycle of course!) -
