I didn't need them but kinda had to get them
Always happy to (very slowly) ride around afan & clyne
Been a while @spotter if you get locked down in Swanseas give me a shout
Surprisingly well. It didn't hold quite as well on the seat post, but with some proper prep and priming I think it would have been ok.
This is the most recent photo I have. There are small signs of wear but no more than factory paint would show up in my opinion.
All in, can't fault it
re the Siroko, I had an email today with an extra 10% off as I'd left items in my basket without completing. May be worth while if anyone is shopping in their sale?
I pshed the button so will report back when they get here
Wtb addressing the leaky sidewall issues? Will probably give the sg2 version of the nano a go
I can't see any hot weather coming my way for some time so I reckon I'll be ok.
Size recommendation on the site suggests 2xl, how very rude (I'm a large lad)
Thanks, was looking for confirmation to drop some money on the sale. I'm in
Does anyone have any experience with siroko jerseys?
I've dropped my cages but my current Blackburn frame bag is a touch too deep. I'd prefer to sacrifice a bit of storage space for easier access to the bottles. Front is a side entry but both bottles catch on the bag at present (but it does help keep the muck spray off them)
what's the go to frame bag for something that is shallow enough to keep the bottle cages usable on the go? I could probably get away with around 10cm deep.
I picked up one of these the other day to replace my £5 decathlon one
More expensive, yes. But it has one handed closing elastic thingy, and a mesh pocket on the side. Similar offerings from other companies seem way more expensive, can't fault it really
weird question, what bidon is that? been after a green one for a while
Just spotted the Rab Ignition 1 on sportspursuit, anyone have any experience with this one in particular?
In the market for a new sleeping bag but haven't gone too deep with the googling yet (will also have a proper read through the thread). Specifically to pack down pretty small if possible for an overnighter on the bike in August if the plan goes ahead
Maybe a repost but it's ending soon and I haven't checked this thread for a while.
If I had the room for it the wife or daughter would be getting this one for sure!
New decathlon stem arrived a few days ago (they are a real nice shape for not much money).
I think I'll leave it black instead of painting this one
was considering that...'ll leave the dirt on there for now
Tycoch, not far off
Yeah, probably should have waited for the matte, but I'm an impatient div so I went glitter.
It looks ok but it would have been better if I hadn't. Too bad, I've done it now.
Loosely built up for now
Top tip, thanks.
I'm not sure if the sparkle would be too much, but also I could do that today instead of waiting until next weekend
That's really kind cheers, I've just ordered an 80mm online.
I'm in Swansea so wouldn't be able to make a collection.
Cheers, I'll have a look over there now
All in all I've found the spray.bike stuff really easy and fun to use.
I could have got a better finish if is taken more time with prep and building up the paint a bit lighter but with the messy overspray/splats of paint look I was going for I don't think it matters too much.
With this paint job I'm pretty sure I won't have to wash the muck off it too often as it already looks like it's covered in mud?
I'm really looking forward to building it back up
