Hi, I came across this forum while trying to find info on MY Raleigh. It's a Volant (no 'e') and I bought it new in 1991. It cost me £375. The colour scheme is a garish orange/pink/black/white, so not the 'Banana Team' colours. It still rides like new but then again I have kept it for 'best'. My other bikes are an even older Falcon tourer (from 1981) and a Carrera mountain bike from Halfords from about 1995. They've all got gears though! Sorry
