I've got a pair of wheels from my Fuji track 2008. Hardly used as I upgraded pretty quickly. Black rims, silver hubs and spokes. Rear braking surface has been painted matt black, but would easily come off with some solvent (it's like poster paint!).
Hubs are flip/flop, with track nuts included. Even got a pressed steel 16t sprocket to throw in!
Make me an offer, I just need to space.

Two of my bikes were stolen from an underground garage in Battersea, Sw11 on Saturday night.....but only discovered this on Tuesday.
Roadie is a Time Pulse B box replica, white with turquoise detailing and black deacals, ksyrium Es, carbon campagnolo centaur, white fiz'ik Pave, white bar type and WHITE hudz - quite distinctive. The MTB was a 2008 Specialized Pitch Pro in brown, with Fiz'ik gobi saddle, SLX double crank, chain device, Pike forks, Hope twin pot front brake.
Probably way too late, but I'll hit the markets on the weekend.
Anyone know much about Battersea bike thiefs/gangs? Apparently another chap had an equally expensive Roadie nicked the same night.

Ye Gods that was tough. The ice, not to mention some of the riding over it was maniacal at times! Glad you got away with your tumble Matt. Im sure those holes in the jacket can be patched.
I don't think I've ever ridden for so long in such temperatures. The cold saps you so hard that it must be worth an extra 25% effort just to keep warm. I Finished 30 seconds inside 5hrs.
Stubbord bastard award would have to got to my mate Sean who was firstly unlucky to puncture at Ide Hill, but then in flipping his bike upsidedown he snapped his seatpost. Incredible effort to ride the last 20ks standing up or occasionally squatting on his top tube!
Solid committed riding from all who took it on

does anyone know where you can get look a like police badges
it would be so cool to dip in ones pocket and produce a waarant card from one pocket when things like this happen
could put the shits up a few arrogant wankersit might be a tad illegal impersonating a police office but there just aren't any around when you actually need them !
Reminds me of a run in I had with a car last July. The guy overtakes me on the Lee High Road and immediately cuts me up - forcing me into the kerb - whereby my bike kicks out from under me and the front wheel is crushed by his rear wheel. I'm yelling blue murder and to be fair he pulls over in the Kwik Fit car park whereby we proceed to have a little ding-dong about his details and insurance. When I tell him a new Ksyrium SL will be the best part of £250 he gets really shifty and start to back away towards his car. Unbenown to me, another cyclist has witnessed the whole shebang and was quietly watching from the pavement. Just as the guy reached for his door the cyclist reaches in through the window and grabs the keys out the ignition! The driver then goes totally batshit at us both, blathering all sorts of filth and getting right in the other guys face shouting "If you ain't old bill get me my fackin' keys back.." etc.etc. At this point nice Mr Cyclist calmly says, "let's sort this out nicely Sir - I think you owe this chap some money..." as he pops open his wallet to flash his Police badge and warrant card identifying him as a DI in Lewisham's homicide division! The look on mateys face was almost worth getting my wheel trashed for! The copper was also riding a nice SS Genesis. Hero!

Internal geared bottom bracket FTW

Granted, the 14 tooth difference between the two ratios is quite a large. My thinking was that an 8-9 tooth range would be sweet.

Cheers chaps. I give Arup a call tomorrow, it turns out he's close to home too.
I popped into Cavendish today for the first time. Knowledgeable guys with some interesting stock. It would appear they are a bit more expensive at £50 a pair for the build. Will have to pop in there again for some Nitto metal... -

Similar thing happened to me earlier this year. Bike was stolen in Soho but popped up on Gumtree with a Shoreditch address. The Police at the City Road copshop did absolutely nothing to help me in spite of me having the name, mobile number and address of the thief/fencer and an agreed time and address to meet the little cunt! I was almost begging them to send a plain clothes officer out with me, but they were having none of it. I told them that I was going up there with some mates to sort it myself and all they could say was "...we strongly advise against that Sir".
Anyway, I rocked over there with two mates and almost got the bike away from them. Unfortuantely there were about 15 of the little fuckers complete ringfencing that part of the estate. We'd completely underestimated the situation - I thought it might be just two guys at most - so it was just a fucked situation we couldn't control and I was probably lucky not to get stabbed.
To add insult to injury I received a customer service call from the police a few days later, asking me to rate how I thought they'd handled my bike theft experience...

Will the rumoured release of a 32GB Nexus 4, herald a price cut for the current models?
Don't fancy a spanking 32, but a chips-cheap 16GB would be ruddy superb
