No worries. Given the age of them (~30 years old now), if you buy a Skyforce (nice NOS one here for example) I would check that it has had its seals renewed and tested or have it done yourself before taking it diving.

The only current G-Shock with both an altimeter and a depth meter is the GWN-Q1000. But even then I'm not 100% sure it's still in production.

The only other G-Shock with both depth and alti I think is the Skyforce DW-6500, which probably qualifies as vintage at this point. Cool looking watch though.

I only recently learned that KFC at Christmas is a thing in Japan. Some KFC marketing person realised that the only thing Japan really knew about Christmas was that it was a big deal in America, and a food they thought of as American was fried chicken, so now everyone thinks you have KFC at Christmas time.

@D-Dog @Detritus cheers! After wearing it for four days it is a) very comfortable indeed and 2) pretty accurate, about +3s/d (it's the first watch I've had a COSC certificate with).

It's such a great size, I don't know why there aren't more watches that wear this well.

Of those two executions, I much prefer the Citizen! I think it's nicely done. Again v similar to the GS style and a lot of 8L / 9S movements have a silver date wheel too.

I think I'm a lot less bothered about the GS vs SGS branding than some people. On the modern watches I generally prefer the GS rebrand. I'm glad they did SGS on this but I still think GS would work, with "HI-BEAT 36000" and maybe the Daini logo at the bottom (that might be weird though).

The "Chronomaster" text looks like an adapted font (the "r"s don't join up fully the way they would on custom drawn type) but I couldn't tell you the name of it.

Also I think jubilees just feel looser than oyster-style bracelets, that's kind of baked into the design. But yeah. Not saying they're the best bracelets ever at the price point but they're decent and comfy, I reckon. Good enough, basically.
