Well I'm actually BMW allergic due to a hideous ownership experience but I must admit those early V8 E53s are aging nicely...
I'm not even sure why I'm considering something like this but I guess daily driving an EV has somehow equated to me justifying some obnoxiously big engined petrol thing as a weekend toy for surf trips and Cars & Coffee outings which is partially why the Volvo appealed so much being such an oddity...
I'd probably just go for a Land Cruiser Amazon if they existed with sensible mileage and pricing these days but they're all 300k km + and expensive (or even better, a Lexus LX450).@hugo7 I've not got any yet but they're on the not too distant horizon so that would be a consideration alright...

I'm a bit allergic to BMW and find the ML a bit hard to look at so maybe a GL is the move but the weirdness of the Volvo appeals to me as a luxe-barge...
@skinny Jeep just would be for me unless it was an older Cherokee...

Have you got an acoustic piano or would you consider something electric? A nice electric one would be no problem whatsoever as you can just turn it down but I suspect an acoustic piano would travel quite well through walls...
In other help requests I'm thinking very strongly about selling my PRS Custom 22 (the one I had refinished by Rich in Wales) to purchase a Lowden F-22 acoustic...

That's really the main concern to be honest...
I would hope so if they're planning an EU rollout but need to suss it out.@soul I'm not overly put off by the idea of no dealer network as they're so affordable it wouldn't upset me to have to bodge it with third party components if there was any issue and they're actually surprisingly simple once you get used to them...

I can't see the system performance graphs for the AC units but I'll have a proper look over lunch. It would really boil down to their efficiency at heating...
My immediate gut reaction would be that if you've got UFH in already then yes it would be worthwhile to swap to a HP for that and the DHW, it'll be a more pleasant heat than using the AC all the time which would make the place quite dry.

Is it an absolutely stupid idea to consider importing one of these Ultraviolette F77s from India? Specs are fantastic and price is good enough to still be reasonable even with import costs I'd imagine!

Hey mate, I'll do a proper step by step of how it went over in this thread as there seems to be a bit of interest in this sort of thing at the moment.
Has anyone had any success with wireless groupsets? Quite fancy one for my mountain bike but don't fancy SRAM AXS pricetag...
