Alternatively/additionally, if there is enough interest I will set up a group order for one design with portland cyclewear, which will work out at about half the price (ish). There were concerns over how ethical they might be, but if theres enough demand for a cheaper product and you can cope with the blood on your hands its an option... Don't want to step on ben's toes though!

I'm also wondering this - although i want to keep stuff as lighweight as possible. Currently I use a shitty kryptonite cable that would last all of 5 seconds in the big city, but I was considering getting an evolution mini d when I move (wimbledon). Am i best off getting 2, or should i get a cable/chain instead of a 2nd one?

I have one of these- it's not much cop at getting the bolt out that secures the crank to the BB spindle though.
Arrrr i see. Some crankpullers come with the appropriate socket - I think its 14 or 15, but often standard sockets are too fat to fit in the recessed hole. You may need to file one down/get a specific crank one.

It's coming. As is wireless USB.
It's something they could (and should) have included from early on. It's not a complex or particularly costly addition to make to the board.
I'm reserving judgement on wireless usb for the time being, the reason usb is so great is because you just plug it in and (usually) it works. No faffing around with authing or anything. It will be interesting to see how they implement the stack.

HDR images are made from multiple exposures blended together. Often this is done by sticking the component exposures into photoshop and clicking file > automate > merge to hdr or similar.
Instead, I manipulated each exposure individually before layering them and using masks to select the bits I want from each layer and blend them nicely together. Finish off with a bit of burn'n'dodge and you're all set, allegedly.

Some pug frames have shitty french standard bits in certain places but not others. Things like steerer threading and seatpost size were silly and garlic flavoured on mine.
[edit] oh and the stem was a slightly strange diameter on one of my pugs, but standard 1" on the other. I think I used the former stem on the latter frame, and it was all creaky. Needed shimming with a thin sliver of roquefort or similar.

A USB bus requires a host to control the bus traffic. So the answer to your question is almost certainly not, as the usb hdd won't be able to function as a usb host. You could try looking at network enabled hard drives and plug them into a wifi router?
Same reason you can't plug external hard drives into smartphones etc - the host functionality wasn't included. Shame really.

Hey everyone. I used to post on lfgss back in the day, started off riding with the cambridge guys and then spent some time in london. I'm working in manchester during the week now and saw a bunch of posters for fixed stuff when I was doing some climbing in the MCC. Seems theres a lot happening up here!
I've been trying to get down to the velodrome but when I rang they said all the taster sessions were fully booked until july... Can't believe I didnt check here first! When's the next session guys?
