Hi All,
I'd be grateful if anyone can help me identify a frameset. It's my Dad's old one so has sentimental value, but I can't find any identifying information on it for a maker.
All my Dad ever used to say about it was 'it was a good frameset back in the day when I bought it!' (which my guess is from the 60's maybe early 70's but assume it wasn't new)
He had it resprayed in the black/gold so I don't know what the original colour was.
The Bottom Bracket Shell is threadless, and the serial number on the Bottom Bracket shows from what I can make out as 76666666
Any information or help would be gratefully appreciated!
Many thanks
I'm having a clearout and have available a frameset and bits to make it up including wheels, bars, brakes, downtube shifters and crankset.
The frameset is unknown but I believe it is a Puch Clubman, but this is guess from a bit of searching. Was my dad's but has been sat in the shed unused for the last 20yrs, so not getting any use. It was resprayed at some point, but that is all I know about it. The rear hanger has been knocked at some point so will need straightening.
I'd rather it go to someone who can use it rather than just chucking it at the tip, so it is free to anyone who wants it. Pick up/collection from Warwick area or I can courier it if the shipping costs are covered.
