I'd say the price is a pretty high when you can buy an equivalent whole marin bike for about 300 with XT or LX off ebay or gumtree. I've not seen these frames priced as high but I didn't know if the what you thought was a titanium fork was inflating the price quite a bit.

Please ignore me if I'm incorrect but I really couldn't see any team marin frames that had sold for the price you've quoted.

Do you remember how much it cost?

This is a team marin frame and not a team issue frame though they both shared the same tubing that year. I'm fairly sure this is from 94 not 97.

I'd imagine the team issue fetches a higher price though that shouldn't matter when just selling the frame alone. Just a heads up.

Also, Marin considers this a 17.5 frame size if I've worked it out correctly from the measurements you've provided.

Yeah good shout. I'd looked at the Thorn forks but the ones I'd honed in on had offset that wouldn't have worked with the frame. Can't say I like having an unnecessary dyno-boss but I can live with it I think.

Trying to build up a winter bike and the carbon fork I have needs binned and would like to replace with a lugged crown fork. Not many options to buy new these days so wondered if anyone has any lying around they want rid of.

Been looking for donkeys for a Nitto 1 inch NP Pearl stem with a 80mm reach for 26mm bars and no where has had any in stock for months. Would ideally like one in pretty good nick. Hopefully you wouldn't mind posting as I'm up in Glasgow.

Not really after any of the other Nitto Stems that are similar.

I'm attempting to find a Soma Smoothie frame and steel fork in a size 52cm.

Soma are re-releasing the frame next year with disc compatibility which I'd have no use for and everywhere in Europe is sold out in this size.
