That being said, highly rate my bike which is a replacement for one of my favourite bikes (and I’ve had a few now) that was stolen and is now in Lithuania. It raced gravel, was my go to commuter, raced crits, did bike-packing. This one sadly only gets commuting/ dad-bike duties/ laps of RP.

On the process- built to spec from Carlos, prototype gets delivered to someone who rides the shit out of it (ie fkt attempt for the XC MTB), and then that is fed back to the final version.

Ask away, but I’m only on this site to brag on the minute cryptic thread sporadically these days! (So apologies if it takes a while to reply)

Short answer- yes, sometimes.
Longer answer is complicated. But there are reasons why some places ossify and others don’t.
As you rightly have decided- if it’s not causing continual problems- risk:benefit of surgery is more risk sided than benefits.

3 under. Nice this morning. Continuing a one and done streak, but I do also love full cryptics, especially the Saturday jumbo in a paper that I wish wasn’t the paper it was in.
Recently I found that that papers method of naming the crossword link might be freely accessible :
You essentially need the base link
feeds.thetimes.co.uk/puzzles/crossword/
Then the date in year/month/day format
Then the identifier (which is linear to the date)
Then crossword- date-identifier.pdf

e.g. for today- crossword/20240926/55560/crossword-20240926-55560.pdf

Should get you to the quick cryptic.

There are three or four different crosswords per day, and so you might need a bit of trial and error to select the best one.

Dora has managed to hurt herself pretty seriously this time.
It’s pretty devastating watching a young dog who really walk or anything without being in huge amounts of pain.
Carrying a Labrador down the street so she can poop on the common is not how I anticipated spending late September.

The other half is just not getting on with it, so looking at 3 wheels or trailers.
New battery, with little use, total mileage on the bike is 500ish over the past year.
Looking for £6k.

It’s all in preparation for WWDC though and the chip- esp with its GPU- has surely direct relevance for Apple’s stealthy growth in AI/NM capability.
I’m hoping for some on-device stuff. But let’s see.
