It's a CIC selling pre-owned bike and servicing and custom builds. They've just reopened doors. The new manager previously set up BikeX (which is also just round the corner and also does secondhand bikes).

The South Downs Social cafe started as The Handmade Cyclist, selling posters and prints and similar stuff. They've got a nice space on and put races on the tv and sometimes talks.

It's actually Cadence that are the new owners. The previous Bespoke Biking shop is now open again as well - there is a name change though.

Anyone ever replaced a Wahoo Roam battery? I had a perfectly functional unit that started lasting 6 hours, then half a ride, and now only switches on with the cable plugged in. Not sure which battery to go for.

Boox Nova sold to @Getaway.

It's lovely - it works great for me in combination with the really tiny Unihertz Jelly. The screen is smooth enough for "usual" Android usage with little ghosting.

If it was a little less tall, had stylus input and a SIM card it would be close to my ideal mobile device. Apparently Boox has a mobile device launching around November - let's see how that is. But if you wanted to fondle the Palma for a bit you're welcome.

I've actually been working on putting together something in a different location - but this is an interesting prospect and I'd be interested in putting our heads together and seeing if we can come up with.

The Handlebar Cafe has been sold to new owners - the grapevine says the new owners plan to open a series of similar cafes along the South Downs Way. The South Downs Social is a decent cafe, but one unit awy is the Corner Deli which does pretty good (if pricey) local/artisinal stuff. But there's a lot of interesting food situations going on in the area.

I sold a similiar one (albiet Ultegra 6870) for 1100 recently. Given the condition/spec you it could go for up to 2k.

But as said above it's a great bike and you are unlikely to get anything similar for that sort of money - I'd keep it.
