I've recently bought some Campag ergos and went to the shop the other day to get some inner brake cables so i can fit them to my bike. I didn't specify campag inners - are these different diameter to Shimano ones (which I presume the shop has supplied)?

Also, presuming that they are Shimano diameter, will the outer cables that I've bought (for both brake and gear) be compatible with the Campagnolo shifters?

Yep it's a 10 speed chainset but as far as I'm aware it should also work with 8/9/11 speed chains.

As per the title,

I've got a Campag Centaur double chainset for sale, including the BB cups. It's had very little use and everything is in excellent condition. Cranks are 170mm and BB cups are English threaded.

As per the title I want to know whether you can use the same front mech with a compact and a double chainset. I.e. if I buy a front mech from a groupset that originally had a double chainset, can I use it with a compact?

As per the title, I'd like to buy a nice steel frame with a 54 or 55 cm top tube. Ideally, I'd like something made of Columbus Genius/Brain/Nemo/Reynolds 853 etc. 130mm rear spacing is preferable but not a deal breaker!

Hideous fades would be a huge bonus--see below for inspiration! Looking to spend around £150.
