Ah that's good, was considering giving 101 a ring - hope they actually start enforcing the order soon then! It's a bit of a shame cos all they really need is access to a skatepark or smth and they'd be sorted, but does make that section a fair bit more unpleasant. I like to give it some beans and stare them out so they know not to mess with me - worked so far

About the umpteenth time I've come across some kind of bikestormz-esque gathering in the Castle Baynard tunnel on CS3 (just after Blackfriars). Tonight there were two pimped out cars there too and some fellas fiddling with a drone - might've just come across a video shoot for some kind of hood video..
Anybody else come across the youts hanging out here? They've never given me trouble or aggro, just a bit unnerving everytime I do just in case they decide it'd be funny to try taking me out - saw a vid of similar on the dynamo ride last year.
Aside from that, lovely tailwind east-west this morning, felt like I was floating along

Morning all,
Unfortunately another bike to add to the list: A Charge Plug 3 with disc brakes. It's distinctive as the BB has been replaced for a gold one that matches the frame (cf. the stock one which was black).
Stolen from a colleague's back garden in the middle of the night a couple weeks back near Boston Manor in West London - I've only just returned from a holiday and they told me just now, so thought here might be a good place to get the word out!
Cheers

Just the one in the description - bike slid out from under me on a surrey lane, going down on the right hand side. Derailleur hanger took the brunt of it, but the shifters got scratched up cos it was a rough stony road surface. This was back in 2013 with no symptoms or further damage since - replaced the hanger and have a spare just in case which I'm happy to chuck in too.

The time has come to part with my old faithful. Heavily upgraded since initial purchase, only the frame and forks are original spec.
Aluminium frame with carbon forks (alloy steerer)
Full 105 5700 groupset (10 speed)
52/39 crankset
12-28 cassette fitted, will chuck in spare 12-25
54.8cm effective top-tube
120mm deda stem
replaced the spesh headset with a cane creek one for sealed cartridge bearings
Giant PA-2 wheelset (Taken off new bike to replace my knackered Campy Zondas) - approx 40 miles use
Conti GP4000S IIs - approx 40 miles use
Specialised power saddle 143mm (not pictured as was on my race bike at the time)
Ultegra Hollowtech II BB
Fizik bartape (of some kind - feels nice and looks the part)
Shimano 105 pedalsCan chuck in a spare derailleur hanger too
Scuffs to the cranks from heel rub, and cosmetic damage to the shifters from when the bike slid out from under me a few years back.
Just recabled everything the other weekend and went for a spin to bed-in the spokes of the Giant wheels. Good all-rounder - she's seen everything from commutes to a century sportive, selling to clear space and get some funds for a new build.
Looking for £500 --> £400 -->£375 (with config as above)
Otherwise can do £325 (swapping the specialised saddle for the stock giant one taken off my Propel)
Prefer collection in London, any questions just ask!
Suprisingly amicable call-out this eve near Westminster. Trackstanding at the lights when just before they go green someone comes past on my left, easily within front-wheel hitting distance (if I'd had to re-adjust at any point they would've taken me out). I grumble "fkn chopper" and give the old over-the-shoulder glare, holding it for a good few seconds to make eye contact. Cue shouts from him "were you talking to me?! if you've something to say to me then say it!" At the next lights he asks me what my problem is and I explain that he had no idea of my intended direction and was a risky move to carry out. I expected an argument but was pleasantly surprised when he admitted he was at fault and told me he'd actually had a similar argument the other day about being undertaken. I apologised for being passive-aggressive and he apologised for being a wally. Not used to people responding to the stare, but in this case it helped educate someone rather than leave them wondering why Mr Lycra is so interested in their face
