Thanks so much for all your really valuable advice! As you say, it's totally the emotional attachment. I have been all over with the bike, including, the Dunwich Dynamo.

As awful as it is to have your beloved bike stolen, it's heartening to know that the cycling community cares.

Stolen Specialized Langster, Silver, 2009.

A much loved bike with much more emotional value than financial value.

Stolen in London Tuesday 10th January today between 3 and 4 PM from Blackfriars Road near Southwark tube station.

Stock with no changes to it.

Looks exactly like the attached photo.
