I normally ride on roads, but not main roads though normally maybe like secondary roads where the road condition isn't as good, i dont really need to be going very fast just a smooth quite fast ride just around london to like parks and stuff i ride a track bike, i think its japanese with 700c wheels!

I do but just forgot my spanner!

Just built a bike and was using old Schwable Blizzard tyres, on my first time using the bike i went to Hyde Park and when i just got there psst, first puncture. This made for a long walk home, then today i went to Richmond Park and went over a pot hole, back tyre went, then when i was looking for a bike shop for a spanner the front goes! It would seem i'm cursed! Disastrous!

So I'm going need some help and guidance buying some new tyres, I've looked on websites but they have been inconclusive. I see Gatorskin Tyres are recommended but i dont understand how protective they are. Do i want kevlar belt or wire bead for best protection? Is it possible that I was just being stupid or are very worn down Schwable Blizzard tyres not very protective? Specialized Armadillo tyres are recommended by Evans. (Bike 700c x 23c)

Im building a budget bike, it will have a scratched steel frame and all black components. I was wondering wether any of you were selling an all black crankset, the more black the better. Higher the tooth count the better obviously but im already over budget so the cheaper the better, but, just send ideas at me or point me in the right direction please!

Also I am looking for some toe clips with straps metal (preferably) again all black (preferably) these are not a necessity to my build though so the cheaper the better of course, not looking for any thing high end but happily would take them off your hands for the right price! If your not selling could you possibly point me in the right direction?

Building a fixed geared bike and have everything but, I am still yet to find, the bikes theme will be steel and black when its finished, so looking for wheels preferably all black but the more black the better. Classic or deep V im open to anything just want to build this soon. Preferably flip-flop hub but not necessary, i can replace the cog but it does need to be fixed wheel. Just throw ideas at me please. (If you know of somewhere i can get wheels to a similar description it would be appreciated). Bumbs appreciated. Price i am oped to. Radial wheels I am also very interested in!
