My wife and I managed it, though it needed both of us. One to hold cat and head while the other opens the eye and applies drops. Used the technique of wrapping cat in blanket or towel with only head poking out, to prevent escape and scratches. Ours were only kittens when we had to do this, wouldn’t fancy trying now they are adults.
Helps if you see your vet do it first. The way they handle the cat was an eye opener for us. More assertive than we were used to.

That dragon balls bike has taken inspiration from Moulton bikes (The ‘AM’ logo on the figures right shoulder makes that very clear). The frame is very similar to the 1960s Moultons. The front suspension is taken from the Moulton TSR. Rear suspension fork setup is a bit of a mashup of the early (f-frame) and modern (spaceframe) Moultons. A number of Moulton enthusiasts have taken the early Moultons and converted them to be more modern/racier (something not too dissimilar to the Dragon Balls bike). Note, Moultons do not fold but the Spaceframes (and f-frame Stowaways) split in two.
Here is a picture of an original (very rare and desirable) sporty f-frame. Cost of a regular f-frame is not too bad with deals to be had. Would be ripe for a conversion, though it does take a lot of work (no standards (thread counts, OLD etc) back in those days).
If folding is what you’re after, a Birdy with drops may do the trick though I have read that drops on a Birdy mess up the handling.

Currently studying Computing with the OU as I type this (have two exams in two weeks!).
I can echo everything that Greenbank has said. Though it will have taken me 5 years start to finish for the bachelors once I'm done. Shorter time frame as I chose to do more modules early, and as the early modules are easier it didn't take too much time.
As doing a full degree part time takes ages and ages you could consider doing a Diploma of Higher Education or Certificate of Higher Education with the OU http://www.open.ac.uk/courses/find/mathematics-and-statistics
They also offer something called the Open Degree where you can study a range of modules and get a bachelors by the end of it. If you are studying for studying sake this could be an interesting option.

Spotted @edscoble this morning. I was riding the Moulton by Lambeth North! Bizarre recognising someone from a forum! Apologies for not making the effort to strike up conversation. Couldn't think of anything witty to say.
The Elephant looks lovely in the flesh!
