I really like the Nature Boy, except I know it'd be hard to use as a touring bike, but fucking perfect in everything else - winter commuting, commuting, trail rambling, aesthetics, simplicity.
But the Verenti Substance is probably pretty good in all those things, but I don't like it as much as the nature boy aesthetically, and I just have this feeling that the Nature Boy is more well crafted.

I see..
Do you have any thoughts of the Verenti Substance vs the CdF? I can't find a CdF in my size (52 cm) for 750 GPB, and the Verenti is readily avaliable in all sizes, and it's like 200 GBP cheaper.
Both are made out of 520, has Sora components, sort of alike geometry and mouts for mudguards and or racks.

So, I have the equivalent of 750 GBP in my national currency, and for that I want to get a bike that I can use for touring/radonneuring, winter commuting, and preferably rambling about in the woods (cyclocross-ish).
I've been looking into these bikes:
All City Nature Boy (SS, I know, but I've found one pretty cheap which means I could afford to buy some racks or something, and I've wanted it for some time)
Genesis Day One (SS, I know)
Genesis CdF (if I can find one at discount)
Surly Cross Check (I've found one which is on the edge of too big for me, but I've heard it's a great bike)
Verenti Substance (Wiggle's own brand I think, pretty cheap but almost the same spec as the Genesis CdF)
Charge Filter Hi (It's getting tricky to find ones since I think they've been discontinued for 2014)Any other ideas? Pros vs. cons with these bikes?

I've really been looking, but I haven't found anything that meets my conditions.
