I'll admit that I like the look of my bike's cockpit a lot right now, but them "Pista" 65deg stems come in all lenghts, and I chose the 80mm only 'cuz it put me in a spot-on position re. the front wheel's hub, certainly not for looks.
am an absolute beginner re. road/track bikes btw, with a fast-ageing body, and admittedly loads to learn yet.

as for comical, what about negative stems with loadsa spacers and a riser bar?! now, this I call comical and believe you me when I say ye come across plenty horrors like this in certain "ambients" ...
if I ever get an itch to try a riser, I'll make sure to turn the stem around first!

yo! just joined from the West of Ireland, taking my first wobbly spins on a fixie: bought meself a nice matte black Dolan pre cursa to factory base specs (+ Navigator Street wheelset, BLB track pedals, diagonal Restrap, Miche/Cane Creek front brake/lever and Profile T2 Wing Base bars) - will show off soon!
been cycling all my life - except for a long break cuz of a nasty motorbike accident - mtb, beach cruiser, mtb-framed Ss, saddllebaged mtb traveling... you name it, never on a road bike tho!
