Hi,
I used to use Finishline Pro Road ceramic lube as my go-to lube a few years ago, but it seems that it has been discontinued. I've tried the fenwicks equivalent and it doesn't cut it.
There's a new product out there by Finishline called Ceramic Wet Lube. I've read on some forums that it is simply rebranded pro road ceramic.
Does anyone out there use it? Is it actually the same thing, or has the formula been changed?

Hi guys and girls,
I've just bought a woodrup frame (or at least decal'ed up that way) which is lugless, eyelets for mudguards, vertical dropouts and a columbus thron sticker on the downtube.
The frame number on the bb is SO 1240 R.
I know woodrup built and still build predominantly with reynolds tubing and using lugged construction, so is this frame genuine or made by someone else?
Thanks for your help.

I've just bought a new steel frame and it's got a 1" headtube, so looking to buy a carbon fork to go with it.
I've got an easton sl90 on my colnago master which I've been racing on this season, and apart from a little flex when making out of the saddle efforts, it rides really well.
They look like they've been discontinued now which is a great shame.
Has anyone got any recommendations for which ones to go for, that are fairly easy to get hold of? I 'd like to stick to full carbon, instead of carbon blades and alloy steerer.I've been looking at the columbus minimal forks, anyone got experience with these? I've read mixed reviews so am hesitating on buying these.

Roberts road bike, with a few bits upgraded from the picture, including:
black chris king headset
white fizik saddle
black ritchey bars
black blackburn rackUnfortunately this was stolen a couple months back from Swiss Cottage Library in NW London. No trace of it, despite searching every day for it and having posted in several forums. It's quite a unique bike and was wondering if anyone can rake their memories and remember seeing it somewhere.
The most recognisable things about the frameset are the forks with the flat crown and 'r' logo embossed, the seat stays with the 'r' logo at the junction with the seat tube, the braze-ons for cable routing above the bottom bracket and chromed front and rear dropouts.Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I used to own this, until it got stolen a couple months back outside Swiss Cottage library in North London.

The spec on the bike is quite different to that in the photo:
black chris king headset
black coda stem with ritchey handlebars
white fizik saddle
black pannier rackI know this isn't technically the right page to post it on, but its already been posted in 'stolen bikes', and I figured I might as well put it out to you roberts aficionados.
Don't suppose anyone's seen it?

Hi there,
I'm looking for a fairly decent but not too flashy frameset around a 54x54 size to replace a Roberts bike that was sadly stolen a few weeks back.
Kinda accepting that I most probably won't get it back, so I'm looking for something to cobble together with spare bits I've got knocking about.
Looking for mudguard eyelets, rack mounts on the stays would be nice but not essential.
Thanks for looking, let me know what you've got gathering dust and want to offload for some cash!
Thanks

Hi there,
I had my Roberts road bike stolen on Saturday 13th from outside Swiss Cottage library at 2pm. I don't know what I was thinking but I only used a cable lock to secure it, leaving the d-lock I normally always use at home.
Here's a description of the bike. Sadly I don't have any photos, but I should be getting some soon from the original owner, along with the frame number.
Steel frame, size 54cm, red paint with white roberts decals. R logo embossed on the top of the forks and seat stays.
Black Chris king Threaded headset
Ritchey drop bars with cannondale own brand stem, tektro brake levers, white and blue bar tape. Cross top lever on right as well.
Shimano 600 cranks, rx100 downtube levers, front mech and rear mech. 12 speed.
Campagnolo wheels with continental 4 seasons tyres.
White fizik arione saddle on black seatpost.
Unbranded front brake with ashima brake pads, weinmann rear brake.
Truvativ flat pedals.Thanks
Finally found a photo of it. Some different components on it from when the photo was taken, but the frame is very distinctive and is very recognisable.

Any one seen it?

hey. my sister's much loved Brian Rourke single speed was stolen from broadway market last week tues 26th march. There ain't many of em around - a 1980s frame mid green colour with dark grey handlebar tape, gatorskin tyres and sks mudgards.. if anyone notices ole Brian, please contact me it'd be much appreciated, thank you :(
I might be completely wrong but having a scroll through this thread and seeing your bike again, I recall seeing something very similar this Sunday near Brick Lane Market. Not a seller, just some trendy guy walking around with it. But it was the same colour, same size, Brian Rourke and singlespeed. No mudguards on it though.

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever heard of a cyclist mounting a sting operation by parking their bike with a low-level security lock and keeping a surveillance on it?
If you had a bike equipped with a gps tracker, and perhaps also had a spy camera situated in the area focusing on the bike, with live feed to a remote device (laptop/ iphone), something like that would be feasible.
Your thoughts? -

Please pm me if you happen to come across it.
Thanks

Thanks, best try and see I suppose. Might try and find out from the supplier if it is indeed exactly the same, out of curiosity.
