he was like 16 and walked with a bunch of even younger kids (the one on the scooter was certainly not older than 12), i've got my doubts that MET operates this way :D

He only asked if people were interested and said he needs to sell it, but everyone rushed by, so I didn't hear him saying a price.

I've been following this thread extensively over the past summer when I debated if it makes sense to get a bike here in London or not (eventually I decided pro bike :))

Anyway, that doesn't matter. 15 mins ago I was offered a white racing bike in front of Maplin in Camden Town. The boy, who pushed it around, offered it to basically everyone who passed by, even me - a girl in heels (perfect customer for a huge men's' racing bike). He walked up towards Camden lock with the bike. I took a photo but cannot manage to upload it from my phone - I uploaded it on my Flickr "juliakeder".

Hope someone recognizes their gem! :)
