Good evening i have just purchased a track frame off of eBay for what I feel is a reasonable price. However all I have is a frame number but I cannot find out what make it is. I'm not too fussed but out of curiosity I would like to see what I have can anybody help.
The frame number is KO5K00067 does anyone have any idea what the KO prefix refers to. -

Oh my days why is it so difficult to find out what you have got.
Right I'm happy so I'm going to stop looking and trying to find out.
James I think the black against the pastel colours would be a little harsh hence going with the greens and blues. Not to everyone's taste I appreciate that. The seat does look good unfortunately a crap photo doesn't show the brass effect rivets. The whole bike is subject to change when parts fail/need replacing. -

Bb threading is not Italian. Not sure on the seat post size.
Had a look at the Peugeot frame. The lug work on the top tube is different in that there is some. On my frame the rear brake cable would run internally in the top tube..
I did look at peugeot frames when trying to identify the frame and couldn't come up with an absolute cert, hence going with the bianchi graphics. My pal who gave me the frame took wheels and bars off of it and I had the frame. He gave me the bar plugs and they were Bianchi, he's swears blind it's a Bianchi frame!!!!??????? -
First build complete. Went for the NO LOGO wheels as they were cheap and money was an issue.
I personally really like it rides nice, may be tinkering with the gearing as i feel i need a bigger front sprocket (running a 44t).
Thought i would share a few photos. Hope you like it i know not all of you will but for just over £200 i think i have done alright. -

first build new to this game.
So the plan is. The frame is possibly an early Bianchi so had it powder coated as close to the original colour. Going to use as many of the original parts as possible as money is a little tight. The stem is a zoom stem. Pretty old. Polished it to near perfect now. Bars have been nicked from my old mountain bike they were black but getting them nice and clean. Crank arms are ofmega I believe original to the frame a bit of a spit and a polish and they have come up a treat.
Next to get is new bearings and headset and purchase some wheels. -
Hmmm. Mine has the cable guides running in the top tube. No lugs. Which I cannot find another bianchi having. My first find was a sprint frame and was convinced it was one but the cable guides and lug work weren't the same. I think the colour is a red herring. But what ever it is its very light. Not put it on the scales yet but I will do when I get it back.
