For sale is a Conlago Super Pista that's too large for me.
The frame was brought from a cycling club in Minsk where it was ridden track-only since its production around the 1970s (I've established the period roughly judging by the lugs, correct me if I'm wrong). I was going to build a decent fixed wheel bike and rode this baby from March until January 2011.
The bike was never used for courier work and I had no crashes on it. The roughest it took was the Main Race of CMWC 2011 in Warsaw on dirt paths in pouring rain. Besides that it attended a few alleycats and two sessions of velodrome riding.

Unfortunately the frame came with a dent on the to tube and the seat stay bridge. The latter was probably done on purpose, I think the frame would not fit a 23c tire without it. The rear triangle is so short that zero clearance can be achieved with 23c tire. There was no original paint only ugly blue spray with bits of rust underneath so I stripped the frame completely and it has a 'new' powdercoat (it has minor scratches now).

The frame is quite light - 2250g with a BB, I think it was around 1850 without it. BB shell is Italian, the threads are fine. 27.0 mm seatpost, 1" head tube of course. The frame has Campagnolo track ends.

Due to: the dents, unoriginal paint, lack of fork I'm asking £350 ONO.

The frame is located in Cracow, Poland and shipping costs will be added or not if the final price satisfies me. From what I've heard there are private companies that can deliver a frame to England for about £10.
All signs in heavens and earth say that this is a genuine Colnago. A great opportunity for a restoration or (God forbid) a Colnago beater.

Using good quality cables and housing. Besides keeping tyres properly inflated this must be the best improvement regarding cost.

Rode quite fast one night, thank Lord that I was on a smaller road without cars when I bumped into a pothole and a shitty alu screw on the front allen key QR snapped releasing my front wheel. Immediate faceplant.
Shimano steel screws. Only.

After unlocking this decent lock can be worn as jewelry. Classy!

Hey there.
First time poster, but I lurked the site for two years or so.
Been riding fixed for about four years now and regardless that I have some other bikes I race and ride the fixed wheel is still much fun for me.
Not really into tricks though, I think that there are bikes more suitable for that.
