i would like to use the previous crankset but it is all moulded together, some plastic and probably faux metal crap so without chopping off the arms/outer ring it wouldn't be possible, and that would look shit. way i see it is if i get a sort of decent crankset it would be ok to use for future builds etc.

I don't mind if it's a bit used, just need one with a single chain ring for a conversion bike.

around 40T if possible. would rather keep costs low, so around £20-£30.

I can help you out with a rear wheel... 40h Low flange F/F Airlite to 1 1/4" Wolber rim with tyre and tube, £50... Pick up in Brixtonia...

I'm converting an old Raleigh to fixed gear and I'm looking for:

yes I'm converting an old Raleigh (not sure of the model) and i've got some tires but the wheels are shot big time like.

if anyone has any cheap wheelsets to fit 27 x 1 1/4 tires going, the rear having a fixie hub would be greatly appreciated? willing to spend up to £70.
