ayup - hope to see plenty of you guys in clifton on June 26 - i'm one of the organisers of this jaunt, inasmuch as it's organised.
Oliver's right - nothing much to worry about before Burrington but the bit after Cheddar isn't flat even though it's technically the levels. There's a sharp climb out of Wedmore (albeit a short one) followed by a pan flat section of about 6 miles which ends in the climb to Shapwick. Then you're back down on the levels again and it's flat for ages, all the way to the tea stop. lumpy after that until the climb up Blagdon, then 10 miles of flat straight roads over the Blackdowns, although these can be pretty hard work into a headwind. then you drop doen and it's lumpy all the way to the sea, with a big climb over the common right at the end.
not been many fixers in the past four runnings so it'd be great to swell the numbers a bit :-)
