This work of art has been in a box in my attic since it was returned from a Mercian repair/restoration in about 1999, i was rear-ended by a Saudi Arab with cataracts (No jokes please, one minute i'm doing 25 miles an hour the next i'm sat on the bonnet of a Capprese Classic whilst out training in Saudi Arabia, they replaced the rear triangle and re-tracked to 130mm (9 speed at the time). it's a 653 Pro Lugless, but at the Mercian were waiting for 653 tubing to come in and i did't want to wait, hence it has 531 renovation stickers on it. I has never been built up since it was returned to me. I keep threatening my wife that i'm going to hang it on the wall for all to see, i think it's beautiful. Just thought i would share.
