Screwed up my lighting. Had one blinder of a rear light (sorry!) which I couldn't attach or divert any other way
I think that rear light is still burned into my vision :D
Amazing ride, the longest ride I had done before that was around the 50km mark so I was hugely daunted by the idea of 200km. In the end though it turned out to be one of the most amazing things I've ever done - so much fun and although it was hard, and I'm hurting today, it wasn't nearly as hard as I had expected.
Thanks heaps to Oliver and others for the half way soup stop, the hot soup was absolutely perfect at that point in the ride.

Had a bunch of fun at this today - I think it's great to see so many people out on bikes and enjoying it so much. It was slow as getting around the congested bits, but as people have said, it wasn't about going fast anyway.
Got handed a flyer from a "mobile bike repair" outfit... £19 for a puncture repair - I'm in the wrong business!

As in the title really, this is lying around since coming off a donor bike, and may as well go to a new home (making me some beer money on the way hopefully).
It's in need of a true and a clean, but the bearings still run smooth, and as much as the cassette is dirty, it doesn't look too worn (I have no idea of age).
Thinking maybe £30 or sensible offers?

Edit: I'm in W5, London, would rather not post it, but I could be persuaded.

Always welcome to come along on any of our trips, just be warned I have a bit of a thing against big full sus bikes around London, so I may well rant!
Rant away, it was bought in New Zealand, where we actually have hills ;) I'll keep an eye out for rides, and maybe work out how to make the girl lose some weight :D

Finally got this back out of it's box again and ready for riding. Not much chance to use it around London, but am off to Cwmcarn in Wales this weekend for a day, and will be looking to do some trail riding within train distance from London after that if people are heading to fun places and don't mind a hanger-on.

According to http://lenni.info/edd/ miche front large flange + mavic MA3 doesn't equal 295mm
But you're not giving a lot of info as to flange size or which rim :)

Finally, since the theft of my Plug back in January, getting married and general joblessness, I'm back on a bike :) This time I converted one myself, and even built the wheel by hand, which I'm more proud of than I should be (wheel building has always seemed a black art to me). Loving riding again, and this bike handles beautifully.
Building the wheel:

Chainring bolt spacers made out of M10 washers, with one side flattened - I now have single chainring bolts, but the spacers work so well I'm not sure I want to put them on :)

And the finished bike... the gold chain was a total accident, wandered into pedal revolution in Norwich whilst visiting the sister "gizza chain mister?" and ended up with that... ah well, I needed something hipstertastic for the build.

Nothing flash, that's for sure, but it's nice and solid, and rides fantastically. Rear wheel is a mavic open pro on a miche primato fixed rear hub, spaced with three M10 washers to fit the rear spacing. Chainline is perfect from what I can tell, totally lucky in that regard. I learned a heap about wheel building putting this together, and am now going to work on a front wheel to replace the fast aging front on the bike.
(and yes, the chain is a bit slack , and I now have SPD's on it ;) )
