Posting it here because its the most active cycling forum in London and I can't be bothered to put it on ebay get a paypal account and all that shit. Also I've got a track bike and I love it but I'm also in awe of derailleurs... I mean people can convert if they like I just don't see the point it looks GOOD this way

Why the hell would anybody want to convert this frame to single speed? It's a fucking ITALIAN RACE BIKE for really long lonely rides where you don't see anybody (ideally)... Its beauty is a complicated arrangement of rhythms not simplicity. You know if you want your Colnago built up with a groupset from the factory these days they'll only stick shimano on it... If people don't want tubs I could swap out the wheels for shimano600 clinchers which are on my other bike. Over priced? Make me an offer I really need some money for a new fork paint job and wheels for another bike...

I'm selling my 54cm Colnago Master Olympic: its from early to mid 90s and is in excellent condition, I have two of these that are almost identical and this is the one that for a variety of reasons I have barely ridden since I bought it a few years ago. All the parts are original and its basically a full 8 speed dura ace groupset (indexed down shifters) but with an xtr headset. Seat post is dura ace but stem is itm as are the bars, still has original colnago bar tape and bar ends, the the brakes have little colnago 35th anniversary logos lasered (something like that) on them. Rims are ambrosio tubular and are colnago stickered. The paint is more or less perfect on this thing, it was recently serviced and has never been ridden in the rain. You all know its extremely light and stiff etc (columbus gilco tubes). This is a really great bike, beautiful italian paint job and detailing (chromed drop outs, stays, chromed straight blade fork all the pantographing etc.) Let me know if you'd like to see more pictures or come have a look at it (I'm in Brockley). I'm asking £730.
Thanks

Hi,
I've got a set of 36-hole Campagnolo Pista (super record era) wheelset: high flange hubs laced to old campagnolo clincher gun metal box section rim without a machined breaking surface. Only ever been used on the track except for a couple days on which I used the front wheel on the road. Front wheel is radially laced, rear wheel is 3x drive side, radial non drive side. Recently serviced and in excellent condition. Looking for £175. Collection in South London. If interested give me a call on 07747832624.
Thanks,
Lodovico
