Hi I wasn't there when the accident happened. I knew of it as I live 2 mins away, but didn't want to go and see. My 2 friends witnessed the accident. The lady was coming out of Madras Place. She was waiting there until she thought it was safe to go. The cement truck driver was at the lights. As the lights changed the lady went not realizing she shouldn't off. The truck driver did not see her because he was too high up and before you knew it she was under the truck and ended up on the other side of the road outside the bike shop. My friends run to her to help. But there was nothing they could do. The outcome was awfull. Don't want to go into details, but you can imagine. She died basically straight away. She looked around 50/60 years old. All I can say is my heart bleeds for her, the truck driver and her family. May God help them all through this terrible time. May God bless her soul R.I.P
