Does anyone know if these are Velocity rims? http://www.flickr.com/photos/gn4tth3w/424723659/
They look a little lighter than their eggplant purple... could just be the light though...?

snowy_again Yeah, already done that last option. Twice. So i've the lovely baby blue geared bike with the *conveniently *stuck high seat post and the mini polo bike (which to be honest, she does ride, but its got a stupid low gearing, so its only suitable as a local bike), both of which were bought for her, but seem to be ridden by me on a regular basis.
She needs a shopper. A blinged shopper. Then I can get into the world of sturmey hubs. Oh and baskets. I've got a hankering for baskets.
And i've a heap of bikes to sell too, which may cover the cost of the soma. Hmm, i'll be off to buy the present, and then check the bank balance. Thank you all for providing empirical proof of the N+1 theory.
I kind of bought it. Sorry :(
Thank you Prav...

You might all change your minds now... they are clincher, and the rear one is as new and still in wrapping, but my boyfriend's filthy brake pads have marked the front one and the paint's rubbed off a bit. It's going to happen anyway unless you ride brakeless, but it might put you off. They're also not as deep as the photo makes them look, although as far as I can tell they're the same ones.
Still interested? I can do photos if required.

Hey, I'm selling the wheelset (was signed up with a different username but forgot my password - thanks velocity boy). As far as I know they're clinchers - I never actually took them out of the wrapping, but as VB said my boyfriend has used one of them so I'll check that he didn't break it or anything tonight. flickwg, they're yours if you want them.
I'll come to a south east London drinks. Don't half of you live in Broccoli?
