Hey All
me and my flatmates are organising the Mantathalon on July 4th at London fields, 4.pm.
Racing, feats of Manliness and Bike Jousting. Your basic beer fuelled mayhem.
All proceeds going to Moustache Mikey, cause he's still broken.
All welcome to race, to find London's Manliest cyclist £4 entry. Only requirement will be a moustache on your face, and we will provide you with marker pens if you can't grow the bum fluff.
Shit prizes, no sponsors purely for fun.
Its also Canadian Ryan's last weekend before he rides off to India so if you wanna say goodbye come party. Also if your not up for racing come hang out anyway as we'll have a bike jousting tournament after which should be hilarious, bring a tall bike if you dare.
lots of love

the transgendered, the female clothes wearing all definately welcome, but I coudn't possibly let you race.
You my dears have a far more important role as marshals and entertainment. Seriously I need lots of up for it boys too who are prepared to help out at the checkpoints...their will be some very silly things happening at them.
So come and make sure you tell the women in your lives that they should race and it will be great. -
Hello All
I'm organising an all female alleycat next saturday 5th of July.
Welcome to woman only to race, Men welcome at checkpoints and in drag (please)
let me know if you'd like to help out as a marshall there will be ridiculousness guaranteed.
Anyway call to all women of whatever cycling ability...this is a points race where it isn't just speed, its how much balls you have.
Come as a heroine, come as a hero...come dressed up however you like...but make an effort, bonus points for costume.
So its 6.00p.m ish at the Foundry Saturday 5th of July.
prizes on offer
£5 entry, with all profits going to the London Courier Emergency Fund
Women come down, Men tell the women in your lives to come down, its going to be a very fun saturday.

As others have missed, unless I'm grossly mistaken, I'm pretty sure Stef is being sarcastic for comic effect.
:)
yeah sure 50 years ago it used to be ok to take the piss out of black people and homosexuals...''what its only a joke mate''...bullshit.
@ stef grow up you misogynistic loser and examine your attitudes to woman
This is the reason I stopped bothering with this forum all the just under the surface anti female 'jokes'.

Hello
there is a lovely room for rent in Brockley south east london going. Its the bargainous price of £348.75 for rent and council tax.
You would be living in a total bike house, part of living room sectioned into bike workshop. It would be with Slamm, DT and Hops, all regular forumengers.
The room is on the top floor, its a large double. I currently have plenty of space for a massive desk and work area as well as general sleeping/living space.
Brockley is 15/20 minutes to London bridge (depending on how you ride) but its got everything you need here, big supermarket etc.. The house is pretty big with two/three bathrooms, good size living room (even with the workshop) and a nice kitchen that tends to be a hang out area.
The room is available from the 1st of May and would want someone to move in for then.
One months rent and a deposit of £350.
Please contact myself of any of the other flatmates for any other details.
cheers

jonny
aidan
jonny just saw chandra spinning down TCR, doing the courier thing on a piece of red steel. what happened to the Dolan?
it broke!
oops! the skinny red steel looks nicer anyway
fanks..yeah I managed to keep the Dolan for three whole months! oops.... but they shoudn't go and put curbs all over the place, particularily misleading curbs that seems to be sloping when infact their just waiting to catch you off guard and wipe you out. I might take this to the citizens advice bureau.
I'm sure my lovely new piece of steel will last longer ;) -

yofixie check out moving target forum, its a wealth of knowledge from the proffessionals.
Its tough and badly paid, do lots of research before you jump in, especially with how much it costs to live in london. Having said that it is a lovely job in many respects. Just don't expect to make any decent wages for quite a while. -

aidan i quit but Chandra forces me to start again.
yes I literally hold a gun to his head saying ''smoke or I'll smoke you bitch"
He shits his pants every time
On another note when I did manage to quit for four months, I noticed a definate difference in speed and fitness. Plus I smelt better, I mean I could smell and taste better and I personally didn't smell like an ashtray.

Sarah normally uses this bike to transport her lovely border collie Ben Nevis. She's not had a lot of luck lately, so retrieving this bike would be so so good. Its almost her mobile home as she's between flats. Please please keep your eyes peeled for this very unique bike.
