After a 'do it all' bike, likely alu frame, carbon fork. Preferably pre-drilled for front and rear brakes. Will be used mainly as fixed gear but would like option to go single speed. Bit of commuting, bit of time trialling, maybe some hill climbing. Lighter the better, sub 8kg good, sub 7kg ideal ...

This may be sacrilege but is/can the fork be drilled for road use as well as the track ?

Ideally I'd be a 56 !! The engine 11 and says it's a 54...however on further investigation their website doesn't list a 54....it's either 53 or 56.
Agreed on the pricings, maybe £400 for the state and £300 for the engine 11 would be much more realistic.
I'll probably go the 'neither' route until something more suitable comes along.

Currently on eBay are 2015 state undefeated, complete bike for £675. Also Engine 11 ird squadra colours - frame,forks and headset for £449.

Both possibly bit overpriced but I'm tempted, what do the experts think ?
