The second child is just around the corner and my bike is slowly having to adapt to the new situation. Because I love the bike too much, I now need brakes. The local frame builder is working his magic and hopefully the bike will be ready by the weekend.

My daughter is turning 2 soon, so it´s time for her first bike.
I just bought a pretty beat up kukua of ebay that I´m planing to throw some stuf from the partsbin on.

Clamp and stem will be arriving next week, until them I will disassemble the bike, clean and grease everything. Can´t wait to build this thing up and put it under the christmas tree.

Pretty much done for now. Found a Ti SLR, switched to an izumi chain (insanly noisy...) and added some silver dust caps to the crank arms. Need to file the fork crown next, in order to fit 25c conto tires.

No, no model number. I just compared a used one, I bought off ebay some time ago, to one I just bought new. Also seems like the whole krankarms changed their shape (a bit).

I just bought pair of these Miche cranks. It looks like, that they redesigned them aroud the area, where it (used to?) crack.

Changed the saddle to a stripped SLR, until I`ll get a black one with padding. Also put a seatbag/framepunp on it. Gonna pick up some clipless padles later today, so th bike is almost finished.
Not happy with the colour of the chain, so I will probably change it to an izumi in silver/black an some point.

Bike is finished for now. Going to change the pedals to some keos and maybe switch the saddle to a flite/slr.

@wenzovic @jono84 I know, but that´s what I have laying around atm. Plan is to get a black SG75 at some point. Need to save up some $$$ though...

after many years of abstinence I have found my way back to the track bike. I have long had the frame in mind and bought after a crappy day at work in local classifieds. Got the frame, seatpost and fork for a bargain. Before opening the package I didn´t even knew, that the fork was included...
The frame and fork are in very good condition, the colour is somewhere between black and blue.

Build plan so far is to use mostly parts, I have laying around:

Needed a new seatpost, handlebar, fenders and cables/housing. Rack, tires, saddle and brakes were in my parts bin. Wheels, shifters, rear derailieur stem and headset could be reused. I think i´ve spent additional 100€. So still a sick deal and such a great ride
