Started the saddle moulding today. «Learning by doing». I made a plaster mould, copying a childrens saddle. I have absolutely no idea what’s the result is going to be like. Did the carbon lay-up this evening. Wet lay-up with a brush. No vacuum or fancy ovens. After it’s cured, the plan is to trim the edges, bonding on a old carbon seatpost and hive it a layer of clearcoat. Then a gentle padding on top. Or maybe dipers is enough padding?

Following up with another prototype of a Titanium road disc. This belongs under the Stribe brand thats run together with @larsenroad. The frame is being welded and almost all of the parts are collected. The frame and fork will fit 32mm tires (depends on the rim width) and have rather fair geo. It will have flatmount disc brakes, 44mm headtube, straight seatstays and semi classic geo. Since thsi is the first prototype, the geo will most like be tuned for the next one. Cant wait tot test it-
I will ride this prototype for training and club-races and since this is one of the last bikes i will spend money on in some years, the parts list looks something like this:
Handlebar - Deda zero 100 shallow / Deda superleggero 42cm
Stem- Kalloy Uno
Seatpost - Deda Superleggero
Saddle - Specialized Toupe Pro or Berk Lupina Padded
Seatpost binder - Carbon TI
Bottle cages - King cage Titanium
Groupset - Etap Hydro
Wheels - MCFK 55mm with 240 straightpull
Crankset - Quarq Dzero carbon (or Rotor Power2max)
Fork - Enve disc 2.0
All bolts - titanium
Headset - Cane creek slamset
Tires - Schwalbe pro One 28mm / Compass Stampede Pass 32mm (Tires set up tubeless)Brand color scheme is still not set, nor the paint split. Still playing around with colors and putting togehter collages with bits and pieces in AI. More color options to come. The painting is done in Norway by myself and the fabrication of the prototype is done where the Hardtail prototype is done. (Waltly)
The blue frame is not decided, still playing with colors.

I just had a daughter. I really good reason for another project:) (this is going to be a bit slow, shes only 5 days old) I bought a secondhand earlyrider alleyrunner 12. some rust on bolts, some minor wear.
The big plan:
- Make the bike is light as possible (already have carbon handlebar and seatpost)
- Maybe a custom moulded saddle/seatpost
- New lighter tires (if found on the big www)
- alibaba carbon wheels
- replace all rusty bolts with titanium
- foam grips
- custom paint
- maybe a new headset (think i have a spare king heasdet in the basement)
- etc, etc
- Make the bike is light as possible (already have carbon handlebar and seatpost)

Base coat dried for about 24 hours before adding the crackle. I crancked up the heat to about 30 Celsius. But the Montana paint dries quite quick anyways. The crackle paint (again, Montana) dried 24hours. Then 3 coats of clear on top of the decals. 2 min between the coats of clear. Again warm room, with pre heated rattle cans. Put them in medium warm water after shaking them. (Paint flows better.) I Also gently sanded with 800 grit paper where the decals was added before putting on the clear.
