I used the Firefox magnify functionality to view the images on the page in reduced size, and then magnified them again to read what little text there was.
I rather prefer the chimp technique, with manageable image sizes, in inflammatory threads, but I guess it wouldn't have been quite appropriate here.

For absolutely ages I've been saying how you should be considerate to other forumengers and not post images that were needlessly too large because there are poor fuckers out there who don't have broadband, or are accessing via a phone or something, and it's just not fun to have a few MB to download just to view a page.
And I know today was exceptional with the thread hijacks, etc... but visiting one of the threads ( http://www.londonfgss.com/thread18873-5.html ) resulted in about 10MB of downloads.
10MB! For one freaking web page that only 41KB on it's own.
That's:
41KB of page10,240KB of images
Which frankly is too much.
So images are now being replaced with links to the images whenever the image is unfeasibly large.
Hopefully this will keep the forum usable when things get silly.
And it is a shame that thread was derailed... Amy should be supported, and not have her thread 'jacked.

Just testing something - when editing your post the save/cancel etc buttons sometimes have the wrong text on them.
Edit 1: "Vote Now" "Go Advanced" "Delete" and "Cancel"
Edit 2: buttons have correct text.
Edit 3: still have correct text - though sometimes I also see "Vote" instead of "X" in lightboxed images.trying new post - nah correct buttons again.
In Google Chrome by the way.

mumbles
I thought the sign was to indicate those people who know to ignore me - generally the poor sods who have met me in real life.
