Clearing stuff out that hasn’t seen the light of day for some time! I’m in SE1 near Borough station, pick up or can meet locally
1) Desk chair - lockdown stalwart, hard no from girlfriend on coming to the new house. £20
2) Sold
3) sold
4) Ratty Selle Italia saddle - knackered, £beer/free
5) New Balance 680 v6 -seen a few miles but in pretty good nick, £10/beer
6) New Balance 870 - seen less miles but the last of them were clearly muddy, should scrub up fine £10/beer
7) Clark’s desert trek - seen better days, would probably scrub up to an acceptable condition £5/beer

Ah classique, I shall look forward to the many rejections over the next few days!
'There were more than 123,000 applications for the grant by the end of February, according to data released last week by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, but only 28,000 vouchers had been issued and only 5,800 measures had been installed'
fairly damning stuff

At the risk of repeating this topic for the nth time - am I running my long runs too fast? Feel very comfortable and are at a 'conversational pace', but HR is at ~150, which is pretty 75-80% of max. Obvious caveat is that info is coming through Garmin watch so could be dodgy - is the general consensus that if it feels comfortable and is conversational then that's about right and disregard HR? For reference long run pace is ~1 min greater than 10k pace.
Just had place accepted for marathon for Sarcoma UK so want to be training right!

Yeah I am tempted to buy from here, but potential saving through cycle to work may outweigh, I haven't quite worked it out yet! With the best will in the world as much fun as building up would be, I have neither the space, expertise or spares so probably a no go. I'll keep my eyes peeled and see what comes up

I'm sure there is a load of threads on exactly the same topic but....
I'm looking to spend 1-1.5k on a geared bike after having ridden fixed for the last few years my knees need a bit of respite. I'm not particularly well versed on this side of things, so was hoping for some advice/suggestions on where my cash should go. Aluminium better than cheap carbon? buy a frame and buy components separately? any advice appreciated!

Tried in wanted ads but will give a go here as well - anyone got an old Garmin/fitbit/running watch they are looking to get rid of on the cheap? Mum has started running and is tentatively looking for something that has all the basic capabilities and will upload to Strava with minimum technical knowhow...

8) Sanitan sink - bit of a random one but thought I would try here before putting out to the wolves on FB marketplace. In good nick, no chips, needs a bit of a clean and glue removing from where cabinet was previously attached. £100 quidish on eBay so call it 50?
