Thanks, will have a look
I was at 21ish when i last ran one a month or so ago, have been increasing distance and am probably at 22 1/2 now when running 10-15k+. @DerDieDas i think you're right - see where I'm at and go from there. I'm in lockdown out in the sticks at the inlaws so hills have been a novel addition to running, completely ill prepared!

Hi all - now that the Hackney half has been postponed I feel like i need another goal to keep me going, so thinking about trying to go <20mins for a 5k. My 'training' at the moment has consisted of increasingly lenghty runs at a relatively comfortable pace, starting from zero at the beginning of the year. Having read bits and bobs on the benefits of tempo runs, is the general consensus that this is the best way to increase speed? Where does one start?!

Yeah appreciate the idea - running for that period of time is going to be desperately dull , but definitely need to build up more of a solid base before I experiment with anything else. main restriction on increasing distance at this point is my bowels, think i need to stop rushing out first thing...

In an interesting twist of fate whilst out to dinner last night the fucking dog ripped the fucking cuffs of my fucking jacket - anyone got any ideas as to whether fixable or not? Do rapha do repairs or anything (as ludicrous as this one)? Aside from folding the sleeves upwards and sewing back on, not sure what else to do, can’t really do with losing an inch or two of the arms...

Evening all - bit of a long shot here but does anyone by chance have a wahoo i could borrow for the weekend? thinking of changing from fixed to geared (RIP my knees) so have rented one of the Canyons from Rapha to see what all the fuss is about. Hoping to get some miles in the legs tomoz outside of my normal endz so having a GPS would be ideal vis a vis not getting lost/constantly checking phone/having that annoying lady shout in my ear.
Will obviously repay in eternal gratitude/beers!
have a good weekend all

cant have your cake and eat it hombre - them the rules!
Letting Cheltenham go ahead seemed like a bad idea at the time let alone now; 250,000 pissed up people cramming into the paddock for each race was never going to be helpful. Distinctly remember the ITV rhetoric being along the lines of the meet being a final hurrah before those bloody politicians end our fun - strange
