Went to Babette in Nunhead a few weeks back on a rare outing sans the sprog. Lovely food, lovely staff and not too spendy. Would recommend.

The only thing we've really learnt from this whole fiasco is that London really needs to declare independence from the rest of the UK because it is clearly a different country. Inconvenient that this is mostly based on financial services but hey-ho.

I'm sticking blindly to my pre-vote view that the eventual outcome will be neither as good or as bad as both sides are saying. I will now be disconnecting myself from the modern world and hiding in a cave until 2025. Byeee.

Hmmmm. Not really one of those people who has to get to the ASL no matter what. If it is easy to filter and looks safe I'll do it. Mostly I just wait behind whatever traffic is already there. There are a few junctions on my journey where the ASL genuinely makes my life a little safer and a few where having one would.

Constantly amazed how people will put themselves in danger to get a few yards or even a few feet on.

I hate that word but sometimes there is nothing else that will do.

The straight story

This is a lovely film.

Re watched Wild. One of my favourite films of all time.

First 12 miles very dry. Last mile very wet.

All manner of fuckwittery on display this morning. One prommuter on Southwark Bridge Rd seemed highly agitated, bouncing around on his bike like a loon at the lights. He was virtually chewing his bars. Bit early for that snort of thing I thought.

Also saw a blue on blue at Elephant and castle - some muppet swerving around and touching wheels with the guy behind who went down. Third such incident in three days. People need to calm the f down.

Yeah, I didn't see today's horrific accident thankfully. What I saw could easily have been as bad. Made me feel sick at the time thinking what could have been.
