That's the problem with brand confusion. If it's shit frames, and shit marketing and then if shit feedback rolls back on it all - some of that brown would certainly taint LFGSS. If it was me I'd be having a word in the vendors shell-like.

If that's a Mizuno full carbon fork then the weight of the bike isn't going to be far off a top end aluminium Cannondale. I've seen one of those Donohue built 853 frames come in at 1400gr.

Open Pro's don't seen to be made like they used to. I went through a pair in 18 months of pretty light riding. I wouldn't buy again.

The brand name might not directly plagiarise LFgss, but the advert title explicitly does. Ebay are pretty shit hot on brand name abuse. L'Eroica recently made them take down several hundred adverts for brand name use.

If I owned LFGSS I'd be pissed off.

Genesis haven't put together a decent colour wheel paint finish since the Reynolds 853 green/black/yellow - and they had to purloin that! What are they thinking...

The older DA 7700 are almost always silver, and quite easy to find second hand. Great hubs, spin up well, probably the best cup and cone hub ever made.

Spin = vv heavy. AS I remember, my mates road rear was 2.5kg, without cassette or tyres.

I had a perimeter, which was a pretty slick frame. My pal raced a Hotta like yours, it's a true monocoque, and not that light as I remember, about 20lbs built. I remember it being the same weight as my then Vitus 979, but they are rapid and low, especially with disc/trispoke combo. Rad looking bikes right enough.

It looks pretty rad as is. Keep the flite saddle though, they prettier than anything period.

The Colnago MTB frames are proper popular in Germany. There's lots of em. I've a German mate from Frankfurt who owns 6, though none for sale :(

You'd probably be better searching German eBay, the Germans aren't so keen on second-hand frames so likely cheaper.

A vintage card game would definitely sell into the Eroica mindset. Which has recently been franchised to Japan, the US and even South Africa. Could be potentially a big market for you, it would sell very well at events. The Eroica jerseys (£75) sold out at Bakewell this year on the first day...

Oh and powder coating a Colnago is officially a crime against the Italian nation!

I've got an 81 Super. The paint looks actually pretty okay and it would cost you at least £250 to repaint it to any standard. The decals look the worst, I'd start there see if you can remove them then get a new set off ebay (£15). I'd basically sand back/touch up the BB shell with a close matched paint (no one will see it!) and maybe the worst of the chips. The patina is cool. Restored Colnago imo tend to look a bit shit. Original paint is what the collectors go for, for good reason - it's hard to reproduce.
